Reginald "Reggie" Rawls Jr., Beloved Baldwinsville Contractor and Avid Runner, Passes Away Unexpectedly at 40
Baldwinsville, New York – Reginald "Reggie" Rawls Jr., a beloved son, brother, and member of the local community, tragically passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the age of 40.
A graduate of C.W. Baker High School in 2003, Reggie was known for his remarkable work ethic as a self-employed contractor. His clients and peers admired him for his attention to detail and dedication to every project he undertook.
Beyond his professional life, Reggie was an avid runner who participated in countless 5K, 10K, and half marathons across upstate New York. He was a cherished member of the running community, always ready to offer encouragement and camaraderie to fellow athletes.
Reggie’s love for life extended to his passion for cars, particularly his cherished Ford Lightning, and his deep affection for his two beloved pups, Luna and Rip. His sense of humor and infectious laughter will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
Reggie is survived by his parents, Reginald Sr. and Pamela, his stepfather James, and his significant other Katie Curinga. His family, friends, and the many lives he touched will forever remember him for his kindness, spirit, and unwavering love for his family and community.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at St. Mary’s Church in Baldwinsville, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
