Bristol, Virginia – The Bristol community is mourning the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Amanda Canter, a woman whose warmth, kindness, and unwavering support touched countless lives.

Amanda, known for her role as a dedicated member of the BattleCat Wrestling Team, passed away on February 20, 2025, leaving behind a profound legacy of compassion and service.

Amanda's involvement in the team went beyond just being a "wrestling mom." She was the heart of the BattleCat Wrestling Team, organizing fundraisers, helping young athletes, and always offering encouragement to those in need.

Her dedication to youth sports also extended to Washington County Little League, where she spent much of her childhood playing softball, from t-ball to high school.
