Carter, a lifelong resident of Salmon Arm, was known for his vibrant personality, academic dedication, and passion for snowmobiling.

A proud alumnus of Salmon Arm Secondary School, Carter excelled both in the classroom and in extracurricular activities.

He was particularly recognized for his contributions to the snowmobiling community, earning the Youth Snowmobiler of the Year award from the British Columbia Snowmobile Federation in 2023.

This accolade underscored his commitment to responsible snowmobiling and his enthusiasm for promoting the sport among younger generations.

Those who knew him remember Carter not only for his achievements but for his warm heart and unwavering willingness to support others.

His spirit touched everyone he encountered, and his loss leaves a significant void in the hearts of family, friends, and community members.

In his memory, a memorial scholarship is being established at Salmon Arm Secondary, supporting students who share his passion for snowmobiling and community service.
